MT4Programming.com – License & Delivery Policy

Last Updated: 12 October 2025

1. Ownership & License

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, all custom MetaTrader code (Expert Advisors, indicators, or scripts) created by MT4Programming.com is licensed to the client who commissioned it. You receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, modify, or distribute the files for personal or business use.

We do not retain rights to resell or reuse your code. Likewise, unless granted back to us, we will not use your project as a template, showcase, or for derivative work. All intellectual property remains with you, the client.

2. License Scope

Your license includes:

  • Use of the code on unlimited accounts or devices
  • Freedom to modify or extend the code internally
  • Use in your trading, research, or business operations

The license does not include:

  • Support for unauthorized redistribution as a paid product or free download without modification
  • Warranty of trading performance
  • Transfer of ownership to third-party resellers or marketplaces (unless discussed in advance)

3. Delivery Format

Unless otherwise arranged, projects are delivered as a ZIP archive containing some or all of the following:

  • .mq4 – source code file
  • .ex4 – compiled executable
  • .set – strategy tester preset (if applicable)
  • .txt or .log – optional backtest log or confirmation notes

Files are sent via your preferred contact method (email, upload link, or site inbox). For most orders, this occurs within the quoted delivery window after written confirmation.

4. Delivery Timeframes

Standard delivery times range from 1–5 business days depending on complexity. Larger or multi-part projects may require additional time, which will be outlined in advance. Delays due to incomplete specs or unclear revisions may extend the delivery window.

5. Backup & Retention

We recommend saving your files immediately upon receipt. MT4Programming.com does not guarantee indefinite storage of your code after delivery. While we retain internal archives temporarily, we are not liable for lost or deleted projects after delivery is confirmed.

6. Versioning

All source files are versioned clearly using internal conventions (e.g., v1.01, v2.0). Revisions or future updates will reflect these changes. You are free to rename files or adjust versions internally as you wish.
